Hello Everyone, I have decided to update you on my happenings.

 

On 14 October 2007 I took part in the Norwich Union MSA Classic event with my Daimler V8 250. This consited of starting from Silverstone Race Circuit, and after a lap of the Grand Prix circuit, visiting in turn 4 checkpoints at different venues. These were a drive to Wimpole Hall near Cambridge, a visit to The Shuttleworth Collection at Old Warden, near Sandy Beds, then Millbrook Vehicle Proving Ground (very secret, the took our cameras away before they let us in), then to the Buckingham Railway Center and the finsish back at Silverstone.

 

Entrants also started at Epsom, Bath, York and Norwich with the finish of the event at Silverstone.

 

We had a great day and the weather was good.

 

The other main happening is that I have just purchased another glider. This is a Schleicher Ka6E. When the weather clears, I shall post some photos of it on the ground and hopefully in flight.

Hi all, I have just added two sets of pictures to my site. Both of these items form a major part of my life. I am a classic car buff, and own three, the Daimler, a Mk 1 850 Mini (pictures coming soon) and an Alfa Romeo Spider S3 (pictures also coming soon). I also own 2 gliders, the KES Ospery pictured here and a Schleicher Ka8b which is undergoing refurbishment. I like the classic things in life, but at my age I am fast approachiung classic status my self. Enjoy.

This is my first entry in my Blog space, and I thought before starting to use the blog I should explain what I intend to use it for.

 

I shall be making occasional comments on things happening around me, my hobbies, things I and my family have done and my thoughts on a number of topics including politics.
